Anybody Know the Vlogbrothers?

So, a few years ago...2007, the summer before Caley and I started dating, I ran across this vido blog (and became addicted to it..) where two brothers took turns sending each other videos as their only communication for a year. They lived on opposite sides of the country etc etc. Anyway, they became YouTube stars, and now they're pretty famous (in certain circles). This movie makes me laugh, and DON'T FORGET TO BE AWESOME!

More Phone Pics

We haven't had a lot of photos of us lately, most of these are old, but they make me smile.

Found Movie

I think Caley was testing out a new camera when he made this movie. I like it. Hope he doesn't mind me stealing :)

Thank you Mumford and Sons

After The Storm

And after the storm,
I run and run as the rains come
And I look up, I look up,
on my knees and out of luck,
I look up.

Night has always pushed up day
You must know life to see decay
But I won't rot, I won't rot
Not this mind and not this heart,
I won't rot.

And I took you by the hand
And we stood tall,
And remembered our own land,
What we lived for.

And there will come a time, you'll see, with no more tears.
And love will not break your heart, but dismiss your fears.
Get over your hill and see what you find there,
With grace in your heart and flowers in your hair.

And now I cling to what I knew
I saw exactly what was true
But oh no more.
That's why I hold,
That's why I hold with all I have.
That's why I hold.

I will die alone and be left there.
Well I guess I'll just go home,
Oh God knows where.
Because death is just so full and mine so small.
Well I'm scared of what's behind and what's before.

And there will come a time, you'll see, with no more tears.
And love will not break your heart, but dismiss your fears.
Get over your hill and see what you find there,
With grace in your heart and flowers in your hair.

And there will come a time, you'll see, with no more tears.
And love will not break your heart, but dismiss your fears.
Get over your hill and see what you find there,
With grace in your heart and flowers in your hair.

I've always loved this quote

Love is a temporary madness; it erupts like a volcano and then subsides. And when it subsides you have to make a decision. You have to work out whether your roots have so entwined together that is is inconceivable that you should ever part. Because this is what love is. Love is not breathlessness, it is not excitement, and it is not the promulgation of external passion. That is just being "in love", which any fool can do. Love itself is what is left over when being in love has burned away, and this is both an art and a fortunate accident. Those who truly love have roots that grow toward each other underground, and when all the pretty blossoms have fallen from their branches, they find that they are one tree and not two. -Captain Corelli's Mandolin by Louis de Berniers
